Similarly to the remake of the second part, in Resident Evil 3 we observe the action from TPP, from the camera located over the right shoulder of the character. Fortunately, Jill is not alone and can count on the help of the mercenary Carlos Oliveira, who is the second playable character in the game. She is also followed by a terrifying mutant called Nemesis, a new version of the Bio Organic Weapon, represented by the powerful Tyrant in the second part of the series. The girl must be on her guard, because apart from hordes of living corpses, the members of the military unit Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service, officially sent to rescue civilians, are hot on her heels. She finds herself in the midst of a zombie apocalypse caused in Raccoon City by the G-virus that got out of the laboratories of the sinister Umbrella corporation, infecting almost all of the city's inhabitants. The game's protagonist is Jill Valentine, a former officer of the elite S.T.A.R.S.
The action of Resident Evil 3 takes place at the same time as the events of Resident Evil 2, and therefore several months after the end of the first part of the series. The development and publishing of the game was taken care of by the Japanese company Capcom, the owner of the franchise.
Resident Evil 3 is a comprehensive remake of the iconic 1999 survival horror game Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, released on PlayStation (and successively released on other platforms in the following years).
